The Town Of Saugerties is celebrating its 200-year anniversary with a full array of Bicentennial events throughout the year. On Saturday, September 10, The Kids' Family Day event takes place at the Cantine Veterans Memorial Sports Complex, Washington Ave. Ext., in Saugerties, between the hours of 11a.m. to 6 p.m., rain or shine. Admission is free to all and open to all families in The Hudson Valley and beyond.
The Sustainable Living Roadshow (SLR) is coming all the way from Oakland, CA. SLR will be providing solar- and bike-powered stages with live music, keynote speakers, interactive workshops and more. They will also bring their original Conscious Carnival, Eco-Art Projects, a Health and Healing Tent, Sustainability Workshops and Speakers, puppet shows, natural building projects, Eco-exhibits and much more. Music performances by Tom Chapin, Spook Handy, Mel and Vinne, Uncle Rock, Rat Boy Jr., Dan and The Rivertown Kids, and more will be joining us for a fun filled day. Children inspiring children through music, art, dance, karate etc.
