Sunday March 4, 2012 Mel and Vinnie play 6-9pm at the Living Room, 1709 North Congress Ave, Boynton Beach FL 33426. 561-742-4399, come for dinner or drinks. In the south end of the Catalina Center plaza on the west side of Congress at Gateway. Comfy place with good food.

Saturday March 24, 10 - 3. Mel and Vinnie, Time TBD. Pioneer Family Farmstead Day at Riverbend Park, 9060 Indiantown Road Jupiter., FL  Admission is free so bring a blanket or lawn chairs and sit under the shade of the oaks and enjoy the music of the South Florida folk musicians.  Historic Gas Engine and Tractor Show.  One of the highlights is the operation of the 1930 sawmill by volunteer sawyers who cut huge pine logs into lumber. The lumber is used in the ongoing construction of the Farmstead.  The Florida Flywheelers Club, collectors of historic engines and tractors, will provide demonstrations of their equipment.  Also featured will be sugar cane grinding, feeding the farm animals, pony rides and old-time games and activities.

NOTES: Havana Hideout is an outdoor venue, call or text Mel at 845 399 4630 for updates regarding cancellation. The show goes on most of the time, weather passes. If it's cold Vinnie may play earlier. Open mic spots are 15 minutes.  Open mics can run early, late and be subject to change at short notice. There are many good local players with new folks all the time.
