Our summer in NY was busy with home projects and the usual Hudson River Sloop Clearwater events, sloop club events, and the local Pine Bush Farmer's Market. Here's our FL music calendar.

March 13-15 is the 26th Annual Will McLean Festival. we will again volunteer as stage emcees and host a Sunday morning workshop "Sing Out for Pete". Come check out this festival in Brooksville, (North Florida) great folks, nice campground, Florida folk music.

It seems that many of our music list subscribers are active Facebook friends. We list our chedule on our Mel and Vinnie Facebook page and create events there. Should we keep this list? Please give us feedback. Unsubscribe if you don't need this. Encourge us to keep putting it out if you do need this.
We had a Mel and Vinnie duo gig at on the patio at South Shores Tavern in Lake Worth in November. We get down just before Halloween. Thanks to everyone who welcomed us back, a mix of friends from all over the east coast.
This week we start working with InSpirit, a non-profit organization based in Palm Beach County, Florida that provides live music and the performance arts to the residents of institutions such as nursing homes, hospitals and rehab centers.
This month we spend many evenings bike caroling with the Thursday Pedalers, (not just Thursdays) in many of the neighborhoods in Lake Worth, joining in events and visiting homebound. We are part of the Holiday Parade Dec 13th in Lake Worth.
The Sunday after Christmas (Dec 28th) we participate in King Mango Strut in Coconut Grove. Parade starts at 2pm. This year we will tribute Fred Hunt, who was among other things a marching Fred.
We are trying to recharge a bit, we will add dates as they find us.

Pine Bush Farmer's Market 9-2 with Tony Nelson on stand up bass in the morning and at Pete Seeger Remembered in Milford, PA at 7:30 with RJ Storm and Old School, Jacob and David Bernz, Dan Einbender, Rick and Donna Nestler and some other Hudson River Sloop Singers. fundraiser for the Pete Seeger Foundation.
Friday July 4th we are the music on the sloop Clearwater during the fireworks 7-10pm in NY Harbor. It is a special public sail $100 a person. For more info and tickets: http://www.clearwater.org/events/july-4th-sail-ny-harbor/

Mel and Vinnie will focus on our home renovation project this summer and continue to pitch in and participate in Beacon Sloop Club, Clearwater and Seeger Fest activities. We have our Pete inspired songbook project to move forward, archives to catalog and writing to do.

June 15 and 16 Clearwater’s Great Hudson River Revival at Croton Point Park in Croton-on-Hudson, NY, in Westchester County. Mel and Vinnie are playing at Circle of Song Sunday morning 11:40 – 12:20 with site crew friends. Later on Sunday we’ll make an appearance at the Hudson River Sloop Singer Reunion at Circle of Song 6:00 – 6:40.
